  • Hi Nanda,

You are absolutely right about all that you’ve written πŸ™‚

Website designs should actually be simple and easy – less is more as they say, and I do believe in that, though lately I’ve been trying a few things to see how it all works myself.

If you read the recent ‘Icegram Review’ post on my blog, you’d see it has some nice features, and those includes Ribbon and other things too- trying and testing those for a while now.

Yes indeed, a responsive theme is essential nowadays with the number of mobile users that have just increased in recent times. That’s why we switched our theme to a responsive one 2 years back as well.

Thanks for sharing. Have a nice week ahead πŸ™‚

Yes, you are right. Responsive theme is very important at this time. As you said, mobile users have increased, if not use a responsive theme, we will lose more potential visitors.

I wish success to all the things you do, Harleena. πŸ™‚

  • Hi Nanda,

So true that website designs must be clear and not cluttered. It has to be easy to read. This is why I like the white space so much. Before I had a blog that was oh so pretty….ha ha But all that has changed last year. It is clear and concise.

The only thing I have on my sidebar is ME! I’ve branded my products there and that’s it!

The worse thing for me is to go to a website that has blinking things and a crowded sidebar. Not only do I loose concentration, but it has the feel of desperation to it. “buy this or that” Drives me nuts!

As for Themes…I had that switched also. My old blog was not smartphone compatable. My Theme was slowing things up. I had no idea, but since I made changes, things are working out so much better.

Thanks once again for your great information,

So, I had no idea there was such a story behind the design of your blog
Yes, there are a lot of people do like you. They beautify their blog and ended up as overcrowded..hahaha πŸ˜€

      Yes, I like your idea.
I’ve seen blogs like that. Banners are everywhere, until I do not see any empty space on their blog. It was disturbing my eyes, I think.

Glad to know all goes smoothly once you change your theme. πŸ™‚

Thanks for adding your voice in here, Donna.
Have a nice week ahead and see you around!
