Facebook Marketing Strategy
As time goes, many bloggers who have realized that a Facebook page is a necessity in spreading their great ideas and market their brand to a global audience.

Facebook is a social media platform that can make us interact with many people. In the business channel, Facebook is seen as a marketing tool that focuses on brand.

Therefore, it’s very suitable used by B2C-based business that prioritizes their customers.

For that reason, many bloggers are starting to embrace Facebook as part of their business marketing. They can communicate with their customers and followers directly.

It’s suitable to build a good impression in selling their products and services online as well.

A blogger who wants to be serious about using social media to market their blog should think of their Facebook page as an “extension of their blog“.

In any business strategies, the keys to your success are focus and discipline. I tried to give you some steps in implementing Facebook marketing strategies with the aim to make you stop applying the chaotic and random strategies. Remember, what you focus on will grow!

So, let’s get started..
Here 5 step Facebook marketing strategies for your blog. Follow these steps to get the maximum results.

Step #1: Determine Objectives and Goals

Facebook Marketing

First of all, decide what goals you want to achieve by using Facebook marketing. If you already have clear goal, then your business plan and your road to success will be properly directed.

The results that you want indeed it’s all up to you.

However, in general I can predict the final outcome to be achieved by bloggers who use Facebook presence are to increase Facebook page likes and gained a lot of new email subscribers. I think these two objectives have covered all objectives though.

Step #2: Determine Your Target Audience

The next thing you should do is define your target audience. This is the basic strategy of any business marketing strategy.

In determining your target audience, you have to adjust it to your blog topic. You also need to involve some demographics and geographical factors as well.

Demographic factors in question were gender, age, or income of your target market. These factors directed by your business plan and your goals that previously defined.

Step #3: Design and Implement Strategies to Achieve Your Goals

Implementing strategies to achieve goals can be done by posting the latest posts from your blog and try to post other types of updates as well.

I will try to explain the 4 types of updates that can be a reference for you.

  • Conversation >> This type is specifically designed to stimulate your fans or your followers to engage in a conversation that you provide. It’s usually followed by provoking questions that tickle your fans to answer the question.
  • Pictures >> You upload images that are important to your fans and your potential customers. This update is usually suitable for bloggers on the topic of photography or art that requires a visual exposure.
  • Link >> This type can be used to divert traffic from Facebook to other online media, such as blogs, online stores or websites.
  • Products >> Highlight new products releases. This type can be used to get feedback from customers about the latest products.

Some Tips To Make Your Facebook Page Better Expose

1. Shoot emails to the people to tell them that you have a Facebook page and ask them to connect with you. Be careful so that you are not considered as spammers.

2. Build a simple call to action on Facebook welcome tab. A simple call was like……” Click ‘Like’ to discover how to drive hundreds of people to your business each week regularly!

Step #4: Monitoring, Measuring and Reporting

Facebook Marketing Tips

Monitoring is not about the hardware devices such as surveillance cameras or complex metrics. It means seeing any feedback or comments that exist on your Facebook page.

Check each comment and make sure that these comments are engaged and positive comments.

Measuring is about seeing conversions, traffic, or other important goals. For that reason, there are three tools that must exist in your toolbox.

The tools that will give you the desired metrics. Three such tools are AllFacebookStats, Facebook Insights and Google Analytics.

To get accurate results, you can combine several statistics at the same time, such as by using AllFacebookStats and Facebook Insights. That way, the results you get will be more comprehensive.

Reporting is about seeing an increase in traffic or fans weekly or monthly basis.

You may need to change some of the points that you think is less good impact. You might use Facebook advertising to get more exposure to your target audience.

All the feedback has the purpose to make you better than ever and to make sure you achieve your great success.

I hate to admit it, but I have neglected facebook when it comes to social marketing. I have profiles, but they currently auto post from my blogs and other websites. I have not worked on building a following or interacting. Been focusing more on G+ lately.

Your post is a reminder that maybe I need to do a little more on facebook.

    Thanks for the tips 🙂

If talking about marketing, Facebook is a tool that should not be abandoned. Use facebook marketing in any business. Google+ is also a great platform for that purpose.

I think, if we really intend to market our site or our business, we must use every resource available, including Facebook and Google+ 🙂

      You are very welcome, Ron.

  • Hi Nanda,

Good to be over at your blog once again, after my little break 🙂

Yes indeed, creating Facebook fan page is easier said than done, but what matters after that is maintaining one and making it grow, isn’t it?

Honestly speaking, just like my blog, I’ve never tried marketing it in the real sense, though I am glad for the number of followers (about 3300 I think)that have joined in and are a part of it. I guess they like what I share to they join, which is the best way, rather than trying ways to grab followers by other means. But yes, marketing is needed if you have a business and want to make it all worth the while.

Thanks for sharing. Have a nice week ahead 🙂

Yes, I agree with you. Maintain fan page and make it grow is a real job. Your dedication will be tested at that stage.

Wow, I’m surprised by the number of your followers, Harleena. 😀
      It’s an achievement I think.

    Hello Nanda,

What a nice and lovely post to help spice up or blog traffic strategies 🙂

Well as we all know, Faxebook doesn’t convert like it used to be because the owner of Facebook reduced our number of reach. You can only reach a larger group if you run a paid ad.

I have tried their ads and i’ll say, it’s worth it 🙂

Thanks for the lovely post and do have a beautiful week ahead…

Creation of Facebook page is easier but we can not get likes for Facebook fan page easily its tough job. I have hired one person to promote my fan page. And he got 5K+ likes for my page in one day. But I had doubt and I have investigated the matter. He was using any software to get fake, un-target likes for my page. I immediately cancelled the order.

So, please don’t ask any company and freelancer to get likes for your page. Always use FB promotion or blog posts to promote fb PAGE.

    Hello Nanda,
Facebook marketing though is a good way to get traffic to your blog but that will only help a business if they are into ecommerce or something like that. As per promoting blog is concerned, posting good content and engaging on other blogs will boost your traffic as well and in a better way. One can also boost their posts to spread awareness but that would cost you. I am not regretting the fact that Facebook don’t help you business/blog grow, it can do but just posting about your updates isn’t enough. One has to share engage and post other related information also so that people get more and more exposure to the topic you posted.
